Beyond Boyle Foundation partners

The Beyond Boyle Foundation is and always will be an ongoing project.

It was first conceived after I came back from Sri Lanka in 2004 where I had helped set up a relief camp just after the Boxing Day Tsunami. Truth is, although I had always done what I could for the charities that had approached me for something or other, the problem I found was my charitable work was unfocused and untargeted.

After my experience in Sri Lanka, I spent time away from just about everything to think long and hard about my life and my work. I eventually asked myself a fundamental question: ‘if I were to die today, would I be proud of myself?’ The answer at the time was ‘no’.

The experiences I took back on the plane from Sri Lanka will always be with me. They made me totally re-visualise what I wanted to do with my life and made me question what I had done and what I wanted to do in the future.

The Beyond Boyle Foundation is now a major part of our work at Beyond Boyle and is core to our business objectives too. There are some stunning examples of inspired experiences that I have been lucky enough to be involved in; descriptions of our new, far more focused charitable work; and partnerships of which we are very proud to be associated with. We have turned from being a great hospitality business into a social enterprise that really tries to inspire and motivate homeless and vulnerable people.
