Whats on the menu?

We’re looking forward to co-hosting an event with Powwow

or corporate event bookers, featuring Simon and the Beyond Boyle chefs in action during a live canapé workshop! (Powwow is an event management company that delivers exceptional live event objectives, either as stand-alone events, or as part of an integrated campaign.)

...and what’s happening at Beyond Boyle Foundation?

For the Foundation’s first event, in late September, we will work with Tinderbox to organise and cater for the launch of a new social enterprise/business support programme.

We will soon be uploading a promotional video for the Foundation onto our website.

We have started the process of recruiting a Chief Executive for the Foundation, which will be a huge step forward.

For the official launch of the Foundation in October, we will be holding a special event to showcase Beyond Boyle Foundation and our trainees to Third and Public Sector industries.

Christmas is closer than you think!Side-image

To ensure they get their preferred dates, some businesses have already booked Christmas parties at Beyond Boyle. Meanwhile Simon is getting into the party mood by creating some delicious Christmas menus – we’ll tell you more about them in September. We have three great-value Christmas packages, with dinners at £85 or £75 a head and lunches at £35, so even if the budget’s tight this year, you can still celebrate in style! There are spaces left, but please don’t delay; book soon – we’d hate to disappoint you.

Spark Challenge Kicks Off

Spark Logo

When the Beyond Boyle Foundation became one of Spark’s 15 social enterprise winners earlier this year and was awarded £60,000 from the prize fund, it didn’t stop there. As well as allocating the prize money, the Spark panel also set each winner a challenge, to ensure that the successful enterprises stay focused on winning new business and meeting their social aims. To help with this, the winners work alongside an expert team from one of the corporate partners: BT, Places for People and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

What is our challenge?

BT chose Beyond Boyle as one of their five social enterprises to work with and on 20th July we attended the Spark Challenge kick-off event. At this event the teams from Beyond Boyle and BT identified a specific challenge for us to take on. We will attend a three-day workshop at the beginning of September to focus on the challenge. But you’ll have to wait until next month before we reveal the details of our challenge. Sorry to keep you in suspense!

Chocs away..

Turn sluggish september into motivation month

Have you noticed how everyone is a bit sluggish when they return from summer holidays? We have some great solutions to get people back into business mode: Beyond Boyle team building packages.

Appetite for Communication Delegate Package @ £75 p/p
This full day collaborative team experience enables you to develop a creative and conclusive strategy with which to go forward. We provide the perfect environment, fantastic food and appropriate equipment.

Cook up a Conversation Cook School @ £145 p/p
This half-day workshop gets participants cooperating on a series of tasks outside their usual areas of expertise. It includes lunch or dinner, cooked by your team, and Simon Boyle gives an entertaining insight into his food, his business and his philosophy.

Vitality Team Day @ £200 p/p
During this all-day event, the delegates work in teams to cook lunch. An expert facilitator gets them tackling challenges creatively, bringing new knowledge, expertise and perspective to the group.

Kneading Collaboration @ £250 p/p
Hosted by an inspiring facilitator, this dynamic workshop helps your group to harness and unleash their collaborative potential. It’s an uplifting full day with dinner that challenges and bonds the group.

Beetroot

The beetroot is nearly there and ready to be turned into some really simple and tasty dishes. I love it just baked and peeled with warm new potatoes and horseradish, drizzled with olive oil. Here’s a twist on one of my signature dishes. It should be a shocking claret colour and be served with some very fresh and crusty bread. Enjoy with a glass of very cold Prosecco during a September evening with the sun going down... or come over and I’ll cook it for you? Much love, Si.
